This is a new species of a crested pterosaur from about 100 million years ago during the late Cretaceous period. This is the third find of a pterosaur fossil in Australia. It shares many characteristics with the two other Australian pterosaurs, Ferrodraco lentoni and Mythunga camara,but it’s much larger.
