With 1,21,99,599 doses so far in a day, India has achieved another vaccination milestone for the second time in five days, taking the cumulative doses administered in the country to over 65-crore, the Union Health Ministry said on Tuesday. 

No country other than India has given more than 1 crore vaccinations in a day, a feat achieved twice now on August 27 and August 31. This is equal to double the population of New Zealand. India daily vaccinates more people daily than population of Israel,” a source said.
