The health ministry data released this morning says that India vaccinated 88.13 lakh people in the last 24 hours. This makes August 16 numbers the highest ever that India has seen since the mass vaccination against the coronavirus began on January 16 this year. With this world record, India’s cumulative vaccine coverage has reached 55.47 crore doses.
